Sy's Piece of Heaven is an accredited 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose rescue focuses on the needs of parrots who, for various reasons don't do well in a home setting. Birds are the third most popular companion animal in the United States and they are quickly becoming one of the most unwanted and discarded animals living in captivity.

Our mission is to provide a safe place for these birds to go when no other options are available.  Some of these birds have been abused or neglected, others may have medical issues. We do not offer birds for adoption, but the rescue actively finds suitable homes for parrots that would thrive in a home environment.

Once a bird enters our facility they will be cared for in a loving environment for the rest of their lives.
